History: A well favored and respected elf in Mirkwood, Randomir was a strong fighter, a loyal warrior, a caring husband and father and even a good friend to the King. Along with Amil-Garil and Traycaul, Randomir was one of only three Captains with which Thranduil entrusted his Kingdom. Randomir himself eventually became a Saelon, to Legolas. Though both Randomir and the young prince get on well, this position left Randomir in a hard place when he wished to ease Thranduil’s occasional anger against his son. Later, in an effort to save Legolas’ from Doriflen, Randomir took a nearly fatal wound from an arrow, but miraculously recovered and only later passed on his noble tasks to his son Raniean.

History: As a boy Raniean's two greatest friends were Trelan and Prince Legolas, friendships that would last him into adulthood. During the civil war that rocked Mirkwood, Raniean was helpful on several notable occasions. As the son of one of King Thranduil's finest warriors, he was from the beginning desirous of following that same path. With his serious nature he soon began his Maethor training under the tutelage of his Saelon, Cirlith. After his final rite of passage he was made a Sentinel in his own right, pledged officially as he had always pledged himself to the protection of the royal family of Mirkwood.
MC Bio: Raniean continued to shadow Prince Legolas, rather like the body guards his friend refused to accept. Always friends, he and Legolas had yet also the relationship of a prince and his soldier; a paradoxical, but perfectly natural combination. Together Raniean and Trelan had charge of a company of elven warriors whose duties centered mostly around the protection of their home's borders and, more specifically, their king. He was also a good friend of Aragorn's, having met the ranger through Legolas. When, during the temporary exile of his son, King Thranduil began to fall into despair, Raniean tried to reason with the grieving monarch. After that failed he took command of Mirkwood’s troops and tried valiantly to hold the rising spider attacks at bay. He was ultimately captured by Tairach, the great matriarchal spider, but he was then rescued by the unexpected return of both Legolas and Aragorn. Raniean was known particularly for his serious acceptance of his duties - those that had been given him by others and those that he had allotted for himself - his protective nature, and his dedication to his king and his home. Eventually Raniean traveled over the sea with Trelan to Valinor.

MC Bio: Retzhrak was the head of the orcs in Angmar, an unfortunately cunning orc, Retzhrak particularily wanted to see Yrinvan killed. He nearly managed to kill Ahnna but was outsmarted by Yrinvan and later blackmailed the man into getting the Witch King to allow the orcs to beat up Legolas. Eventually Retzhrak met his end with the rest of the orcs of Angmar when Tinald locked them down in their chambers when the mountain was flooded with magma.

MC Bio: Greedy and far too confident, Rhuddryn was the landowner in Harad who kept slaves and bred Oliphants. He agreed to take Aragorn for a while since he and Seobryn were both in the warg breeding job for Saruman, though he later wished he had taken up the Migar business. Later Legolas, disguised as the marksman Tyndel, joined his employ as one of his overseers in a hopes of finding Aragorn. Rhuddryn was a fair enough master since his slaves were too valuable to loose but when Aragorn knocked Lur out for beating on Legolas they both end up being sentenced to a day working in the blistering hot salt mine. Shortly after that, Rhuddryn left for three day journey, while he was gone the slaves took over his plantation and he was killed by order of Saruman.

MC Bio: Speaking brashly when he should keep quiet, Rigo was the one who carried the map to the Seventh Stone, but after telling Paxcyn and his men about it and leaving the tavern with his friend Glecyn, Glecyn was killed by Paxcyn’s men and Rigo fatally injured.
