MC Bio: Cabed was both the leader of the Simbani Clan and one of the Olybryn, Oliphaunt herders. When Aragorn lost his memory and Seobryn gave him to Rhuddryn, Cabed and his clan took Aragorn in and taught him how to handle Oliphaunts. Later, when Legolas joined the overseers, Cabed tried to protect Aragorn from Legolas. However when Aragorn remembered everything and told Cabed that Legolas was his friend, Cabed immediately believed him. An honest and loyal man Cabed was one of reasons that Aragorn did not despair when he could no longer remember who he was. When at last the slaves were free, Cabed decided to stay on with his family on the plantation.

MC Bio: Castamir was second-in-command to Alcarin of the Ramanna division in Gondor, a cynical man who was quite too often drunk, Castamir became furious when it appeared that Legolas had killed his nephew, unwilling to consider that perhaps it was a mistake, Castamir set his mind on punishing Legolas, getting him accused of trying to escape and torturing him without the permission or knowledge of his superiors for being a ‘traitor’. It was in the midst of this act that Aragorn and Denethor came upon him. Aragorn, enraged by what Castamir was doing to his frien,d started to restrain the man and Castamir, still drunk, struck out at him, this resulted in a one way fight wherein Aragorn finally brought Castamir down. Denethor then arrested Castamir for insubordination. Later, during the fight against Alcarin and his Corsairs, Castamir showed up and under Aragorn’s instruction, held the bandage over Denethor’s fatal wound. In the end Castamir was made to see that Alcarin had been the true traitor all along, unable to help the guilt, Castamir tried to apologize to Aragorn for what he had done to Legolas and was relieved to receive a second chance from the man.

MC Bio: Honest, loyal and true, Celboril had been the servant of Gil-Galad back in Elrond’s younger days and then served Elrond faithfully. Too much familiarity with Rivendell caused Celboril to gain a possessive air however and he was constantly to be found tongue-lashing whichever child of Elrond was unfortunate enough to make a mess in the halls. Later Legolas and Aragorn become two of the worst offenders. Still, despite this, Celboril was fiercely loyal, knowing instinctively what his lords may need he provided for them in ways that they often find themselves taking for granted. When Rivendell was put under siege by Guruth and his fellow orcs, Celboril broke from his usual restraints of a house servant and fought with Elrond’s sword to defend the helpless wounded in Rivendell’s halls taking nearly fatal wounds for his bravery.

History: Celeborn was a kinsman of King Thingol and did not leave the shores of Middle Earth in the first journeys, as the Noldor elves did. However when he married it was to a Noldor, a powerful elf maiden named Galadriel. Together they moved to Lothlorien where they ruled as Lord and Lady over the elves there, helped by the elven ring of power that Galadriel bore. Celeborn was a good leader, understanding and wise, and particularly concerned with the military safety of his lands. Alert and wary, there was little that could slip past Celeborn or his border guards, even at the height of Sauron’s power.

MC Bio: Celeborn met Aragorn only briefly the first time their paths crossed, but though Aragorn was in need of medical aid at the time and not entirely conscious, Celeborn was favorably impressed by the future king’s bravery, honesty and humble manner. Due to Aragorn’s relationship with Celeborn’s granddaughter, Arwen (who spent much of her time in Lorien with Galadriel), Celeborn was to see Aragorn a good deal in the future. After the War of the Ring, Celeborn eventually traveled west over the sea, there to live in Valinor with his wife and be reunited with their daughter.

MC Bio: Later, when Elrond was taken by a survivor of Celebrían’s former captors, she appeared to him in a vision and gave him comfort when he was alone.

MC Bio: Something like Seobryn’s second-in-command, Chadoc did not trust things easily. He tended to worry when things seemed to be going suspiciously. He was not pleased with their job for Saruman at all. Chadoc also made the mistake of knocking Aragorn out with a sack of strange substances given to them by Saruman, this caused Aragorn to loose his memory. When Seobryn decided to take Aragorn as a slave since the young man didn’t know who he was anyway, Chadoc was worried that it would go ill and some day the ranger would remember. Chadoc also developed a disliking for Legolas who, having impressed Seobryn in a bar fight, had seemingly taken his place as the most valuable member of the group. Chadoc was later killed by Legolas.
