She's Back! ...again.

GOOD NEWS!
Okay, so we went to the North Carolina coast and it was incredible! We went to Nag's Head, by Kitty Hawk if you know NC well, and though the water was cold most of the time, it was simply gorgeous. Also, my friend Noah introduced me to the number-square game of Sudoku, which if you haven't played it, you really should give it a shot soemtime! Anywho, we ate Oreos, watched Gilmore Girls re-runs, walked on the beach, and we built a lovely sandcastle poetically entitled "The Last Founder's Castle of Corizon" which fell when the tide came in *sniffle*.

Okay, but the REALLY good news. Most of you don't know that many personal things about me, but you all know I believe in God. What most people don't know is that I've actually never been baptized. For those who aren't Christians or don't know a lot about it, baptism is an outward simbol of an inward decission; to repent of my sins and accept Jesus is God. Though I believe that, and though I've been living in that belief, I had never actually been baptized.

Well, Daddy and I talked about it, and I decided it was time to make the commitment. I was always afraid of doing it. I don't like the idea of all eyes on me, everyone watching me take this important step. But God gave me amazing grace and peace when I decided to do it there at the beach.

So, with my family and my life-time friends standing with me, I was baptized.

I'm not in the habbit of sharing me deepest, personal thoughts with just anyone, but I think you should know it's the most...incredible- I don't know how to say it. It was true. And it was white. It's the best way I can think to describe it.

Now, this news probably doesn't mean a lot to some of you. You'll probably be wondering, so what's the big deal? But to some, Kate and Ivy especially, I know you'll understand it, see it, feel the way I do. For those who don't? I would like nothing better to explain it all to you. Just ask me.

Anyway, I came home missing the oceans, the sand, and Noah, Matt, Stephy, Lita and Tim a lot. But, life goes on. I've got play practice tonight, and since Daddy's on-call in the ER, my mom, sisters and I are going to watch Gilmore Girl re-runs tonight. Fun! :D I can't wait till tomorrow night, though, because we've all started watching Smallville! YAY! It's excellant, but because Daddy's watching it with us, we wanted to wait till he comes home tomorrow evening. :) But it's super good (no pun intended). ;)
